General Terms and Conditions of Sale for Our Outdoor Activities

1 – Participation Requirements

Our activities are open to everyone, provided that the following conditions are met:

  • Ability to swim and immerse yourself without difficulty (for canyoning activities).
  • No medical contraindication to the chosen activity (heart condition, recent injury, chronic or temporary disability, etc.).

Please note:
Some disabilities or physical conditions are not necessarily incompatible with our activities, but they must be reported to O’Limpide at the time of booking. The O’Limpide team aims to make its activities accessible to as many people as possible and will do its best to find suitable solutions in such cases.

If you are under medical treatment (e.g. inhaler, allergies, etc.), you must bring your medication with you and inform your guide before the activity begins.

You must be in full possession of your physical and mental abilities during the activity (no alcohol, drugs, or extreme fatigue).

Minors under 12 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Please note:
Minors over 12 years old may participate unaccompanied, provided that a responsible adult signs a parental authorization in advance and informs O’Limpide at the time of booking. Keep in mind that these activities take place in environments that are generally unfamiliar to children, so it is important to explain the activity to them in advance and be present during the introduction with the guide to reassure them. It is also preferable that unaccompanied children are used to participating independently in activities and are not forced to do so.

All participants must be equipped with the required personal gear (see section “Equipment to bring”).

Please note:
If any participant does not have the required equipment, you must inform O’Limpide no later than the day before the activity so that a solution can be found and, if possible, the missing equipment can be provided.

Participants must pay attention to and respect all safety instructions given by the guide before, during, and after the activity.

2 – Booking Conditions

Regardless of the chosen activity, all participants must be registered in advance on O’Limpide’s schedules.

To register, you must contact us by phone or email in order to:

  • Choose or confirm the activity according to your skill level, physical condition, current conditions (water levels, etc.), and preferences.
  • Check availability (not all routes are operated daily, and group sizes are limited per guide).
  • Provide your contact details (name, phone number, email address).

A detailed description of the selected activity will always be sent by email.

Once registered, to confirm your booking we require:

  • A 30% deposit of the total price (by bank transfer or cheque).
  • Measurements (height, weight, shoe size) of each participant to ensure suitable equipment.
  • Your arrival location so we can provide directions to the meeting point.

A confirmation email will always be sent, including:
activity details, date and time, deposit confirmation, equipment list, and directions.

We always contact you the day before the activity for a final briefing and provide your guide’s phone number for any urgent issues.

3 – Group Bookings

The group representative is the person who made the booking and provided their contact details.

They are responsible for communicating all information provided by O’Limpide to all group members, including:

  • Participation requirements
  • Date, time, and meeting point
  • Access directions
  • Activity details and specific conditions

Important:
Our goal is for everyone to have a great experience. Each participant must be informed of the chosen activity and its requirements (physical condition, technical level, obstacles, etc.). If even one participant does not meet these requirements, safety for the entire group may be compromised. It is therefore the responsibility of the organizer to inform all participants.

For surprise events (birthdays, stag/hen parties, etc.), if a participant is not informed in advance, please notify us.
